[Plugin: TubePress] Similar plugin that imports videos into posts

  • Hey, im looking for a plugin that works like tubepress displaying a gallery of youtube videos from a specific user, but all youtube videos can be grabbed and embedded into their own posts, plus youtube tags auto added as tags and other meta data, so then i can categorize the videos and have a gallery on the homepage.
    I plan on having a featured slider aswell.

    I could always grab each video individually and add the post, but then how would i display all these posts as a gallery on the homepage with thumbnails? Same goes for the slider.

  • There is a plugin called “Automatic YouTube Posts” that works pretty well. I used that and made my video category display as a gallery. I also have a random video show up on the main page every time the page loads.

    In order to do this you have to make use of the video thumbnails. Basically, I created the gallery by just making the video thumbnails be posted into a <div> in a loop. I can copy the exact code I wrote to do this, but I just wanted to let you know that it is possible.
