Plugin trying to access wrong URL path for acme challenge file

    Your plugin insists that uploaded acme challenge files should be publicly viewable at:

    https://mydomain.com.au/home/myuser/public_html/.well-known/acme-challenge/[acme challenge file]

    instead of

    https://mydomain.com.au/.well-known/acme-challenge/[acme challenge file]

    Naturally, the first link doesn’t work, but the second one is accessible. Why is the plugin insisting on the wrong URL to access the acme challenge file?

    This preventing me from completing the acme challenge. And no, I do not want to use the DNS TXT record method. I am the admin for my website and server but that’s not the point.

    That path is dynamically pulled from site_url() function. Can you please check if your domain is set correctly in Settings > General of wp-admin?
