Plugin tries to embed when it sees URLs in href tags

This is almost exactly the plugin I’m looking for. I say “almost” because any instance of an Instagram URL causes the plugin to try to include the Instagram embed into the post. This is true even for URLs inside of href tags. So, if I want to simply link to any Instagram photos of mine, the link breaks thanks to this plugin. If there could be an option to allow users to need brackets around a [URL] to tell the plugin to work, that would solve this problem. Thanks!
