plugin translation not wordking

    Hello,

    i’m trying to translate the plugin “WPbooklist” english to french.

    i checked the PO file in plugin/wpbooklist/languages/wpbooklist-fr_FR.po, the translation is ok but the plugin still in english

    If you’re trying to load the French translation that ships with the plugin – it doesn’t work because the WPbooklist plugin incorrectly loads its own translation files. This bug has nothing to do with Loco Translate and you’ll get the same results if you disable it.

    If you’ve created an alternative French language file using Loco Translate then please provide details.

    in the Loco translate menu, the translation file name is wpbooklist-fr_FR.po

    i searched the wpbooklist-fr_FR.po file in my website directory, there is only one file in the wpbooklist plugin directory.

    Yes, this is the French translation that ships with the plugin – it doesn’t work due to a fault in the wpbooklist plugin.

    Either create your own translations or install community translations to override this.
