[Plugin: Translate This Button] stop working

I discovered the same issue as Phil. I really liked the way this plugin worked “in-page” and since it stopped working I have been forced to turn it off.

Any plans for an update? I would be willing to donate to get it working as before.

Same problem here as well, goes to translate.google.com. I will turn it off as well until it works again. Strange things is that on their own website it seems to work without going to translate.google.com.

oh man! i was so happy by this plugin!!

In the beginning, it was working so nice!!!

but now, it opens above that box of google translator…

it was the best plugin for translation that i had found!

I find it weird that when I tried to apply their script to one of my other site, it works perfectly but then when it’s with my clients’ it won’t work anymore and redirects to Google. I wish they would answer emails at least on why D: I heard they ban certain domains :/

Maybe nadinecammille is correct about the ban of certain domains… but i think the developer doesn′t have time for this… because every day are made a lot of downloads of this plugin…

I think that must be occuring an error…

This plugin seems completely broken as of now.

For some reason it tries to contact the following address when you click a language to translate to
https://85.17.190.170:9008/socket.io/1/

Problem is, that server is down. Without it coming back up the plugin is not going to work properly, because the IP is hard-coded in the plugin.

On my sites it does nothing, not even going to Google.

oh man…

The author obviously has no interest in this plugin, never even responding to these comments. A pity because it worked well. I’ve now used Transposh plugin which seems pretty good.
