plugin to stop trackbacks

  • My site is getting hit hard with spam trackbacks from what looks to be automated scripts (all the comments say the same things, similar words but different links and IP’s) I have Akismet activated and it catches a fair amount of the comments. Is there a plugin to stop the trackbacks that are legitimate readers of my blog that works with WP 2.3?

    Eh sorry. I want to allow legitimate readers of the blog to post comments and stop the automated trackbacks and spam comments.

    Have you looked at or tried the Bad Behavior plugin yet?

    I have looked at it but can’t find anything about it working with wp 2.3

    I’m running it on a 2.3 blog, seems to be fine — and it still blocks several thousand “bad guys” a week for me. ??
