Plugin To Set A Featured Pic Automatically For Old Posts?

    I have hundreds of posts on my blog https://www.musclehack.com/archives/

    However, I’m only starting to add a ‘featured pic’ to the posts, and also the same pic for ‘post image’ and ‘thumbnail image’.

    Going through all my historic posts would take forever. The pic used for each post will always be the first pic to appear at the top of each single post.

    Is there a plugin that would automate this process?

    The main reason I’m interested in this is because YARPP would display thumbs at the bottom of my posts and I think might put a thumb beside my search results? Although I’m not sure if it’s featured pic or post image that is responsible for this.
