  • Hello,
I appreciate your question and understand your concern, well I explain my POV here hope you find your answers from below points.

Using a plugin to prevent right clicks and copying on your WordPress site generally won’t directly impact SEO in terms of how search engines like Google crawl and index your content. Search engines have sophisticated algorithms that can still analyze and index your site’s content, even if certain actions are restricted for users.

However, it’s important to consider the user experience and potential indirect effects on SEO:

    1. User Experience (UX): Preventing right clicks and copying can be frustrating for users who may want to share or save content. If the user experience is negatively affected, it could lead to higher bounce rates and lower engagement, which can indirectly impact SEO.
    2. Accessibility: Restricting certain actions may affect users with disabilities who rely on specific tools or features to navigate websites. Ensuring your website is accessible is an important aspect of good web design and can indirectly influence SEO.
    3. Social Sharing: If users are unable to easily share content, it may impact social media engagement, which can play a role in SEO. Social signals, such as likes, shares, and comments, can contribute to a page’s visibility in search engine results.
    4. Duplicate Content Issues: While it’s not directly related to right clicks, if your plugin modifies the way content is displayed or loaded, it’s essential to ensure that it doesn’t inadvertently create duplicate content issues, as this can negatively impact SEO.

In summary, while the plugin itself may not affect how search engines crawl and index your site, it’s crucial to consider the overall impact on user experience, accessibility, and social engagement. If the plugin is causing any negative effects in these areas, you may want to reevaluate its usage or explore alternative solutions that balance content protection with a positive user experience.
