Plugin To Organize Page or Post Lists

Hi All,

I know this is a long shot, but I wanted to explore the possibilities. When you are in pages or posts, they are shown as a long list. This list can be very cumbersome if you have a lot of pages/posts, add to that the indented parent/child relationships listing.

What we were looking for is a way to change the UI or look of that list, so that it would be more condensed or manageable. Something like the ‘folder’ or ‘list’ view when you’re in Windows Explorer or the Mac Finder, to where you don’t have to always scroll down a long list when you’re trying to find a particular page/post.

I don’t know if this is even possible, as it would would have to hack the core WP UI or interface.
