Plugin to manage large amounts of text on pages

    The title of this thread says it all. I have a site that has pages which contain large amounts of text that go on forever. I envision one of two solutions:
    1. a “container” almost like a div that has a definable height and has a scroll bar for excessive amounts of text on a particular page.
    or
    2. a duplicate navigation menu that floats along the bottom of the page as the user scrolls past the sea of words.

    the entire idea is ease of use in the navigation department. if a user gets halfway through the gobs of text and decides they want to go back up and change pages, i want instant access to the navigation menu instead of them having to scroll aaaaaaall the way to the top (or bottom)
