Plugin to insert text via shortcode?

  • I have a several-paragraph analysis that is updated with recent poll numbers every couple of days. It’s located in several different posts which I use as landing pages. I do NOT want the material appearing everywhere, so placing it in a sidebar text widget doesn’t work.

    As it stands, I type up the updated analysis in one of the posts, then cut and paste it out to all the others.

    I looked for but did not find a plugin which would allow me to type up the analysis in one place (perhaps in the back end), and have it appear wherever I put the shortcode. It’d make updating much faster.

    Is there such a plugin, or a different idea that might work?
