plugin to count to specific number by specific date?

Does anybody know of a plugin that will let you set a number and a date and the plugin slowy counts to that number by the date you have set?

I need it for a client that whants to show a message similar to this:

Sold 321231 products already.

It has to be a fake script because they sell offline mostly.
I have been looking around but all i can find are hitcounter plugins or countdown to certain date plugins.
