plugin to change from a multi site to a fresh site

  • is there a plugin to change a multi site over to a new install on a single site domain. example move (multisite1.mydomain.com) to my (site.com)

    effectively if some one buys a domain and no longer wants a sub domain

    You could be talking about domain mapping, but frankly, when you’ve got a multi and delete all subsites, edit wp-config back and you have a nice standalone.

    No. There’s no plugin for this currently.

    To move a sub site onto its own single site, go install WP where you want it, export out the sb site (tools -> Export) and import it in the single site.

    then set up the theme and plugins on the single site.
