Plugin to allow users to update personal data

I have a project that I need a very special plugin but I can not seem to find it. Before going through the steps to make it I thought I would ask here. If it doesn’t exist, let me know if you think it should. ??

A client has a web site where members input data about themselves that only the admin (instructor) and the member are allowed to see. The member needs to be able to update this information regularly. I have found several plugins that let you create custom forms and even store the data in a database. However, none of these allow the member to go back and update any data. I contemplated using something like Register Plus but there are 7 forms and a couple of them are really lengthy. Does anyone know of a plugin that allows a person to enter data that only the admin and the member can see, and that the member can update whenever they want?

It’s very much like a custom profile, but hidden. I have never even found something for these profiles, aside from using MU and BuddyPress which I do not want to do. So, a custom profile plugin, one that allows multiple pages (forms) and that I can create input, textarea, radio, checkbox and dropdowns with, could be a start.

Again, if something like this does not exist, and you think you have a use for it, let me know – cause I am going to have to build it if I can’t find it.
