    Hey Max,

    I find this to be one hell of a great plugin, excuse my language.

    I’m using this solely as an Inline-pluging on the website i’m maintaining (www.crimedoespay.nl > click the lightergrey bold links you find in the agenda on the righthandside)

    Now my question is: how can i make the background (and fonts) of the thickbox to be similar (or equal) to the rest of the website?

    I’ve copied over the files from the folder ‘COPY THIS’ to my default-theme, i’ve checked if they look similar to my header.php and page.php..and i still can’t see anything that i might be doing wrong.

    I hope you can help me out.

    Hi Bobby,

    thanks for the compliment. The template files that you copied should work if you embed pages via ThickBox from your site as iframes. In this case you can simply select to use the ThickBox template for those particular pages.

    If you’re using inline code where the content is simply hidden on the same page – you might need to us Firebug for Firefox to determine which IDs and classes you need to edit.

    Hey Max,

    Thanks for the reply. I’ve tried firebug to find the IDs and Classes, but couldn’t really discover any (have to say: i’m no whizz on this field). What i did find however is the stylesheet for this plugin in the wp-includes folder. With some fiddling i’ve managed to make the basic adjustments i wanted (change in background colors and fontcolor).

    It was very easy when i found that file and now it’s more in sync with the rest of the pages.

    Bobby,

    that is a core file which will get overwritten next time you upgrade to a new version of WordPress. What you need to do, is to include the IDs/classes you changed into your theme’s style.css file.

    Now i fully understood what you meant with classes etc. I’ve copied the specific coding into my theme-stylesheet and removed the altered stylesheet from the wp-includes folder!

    Guess what: it worked perfectly. Thank you for the advise!
