• Hello,

    I currently use WordPress for about 30 websites, and I noticed that after that last core update, that my plugin and theme progress page is not functioning properly. The plugins and themes still update normally, but the update page no longer shows the progress and completion for each item.

    So, basically, when I click update, I see a spinning circle in my browser tab favicon location, and need to use that as an indicator for when the plugins/themes are complete. I’m worried that I’m going to navigate away from the page page before the updates are complete and that will break the site.

    If I manually update the plugins on the plugin page, they update and show me the green success checkmark, but when I do a bulk update it just shows:

    ========================================================

    The update process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts, so please be patient.

    Enabling Maintenance mode…

    Updating Plugin XXXXXX (1/4)

    ========================================================

    and then never gets any further, even though the plugins are still being updated.

    I am running the latest version of PHP on a LightSpeed Server.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I want to report that:

    1. I updated the Robo Gallery Plugin on my staging website, and now your Pro Ad page has locked me out of the WP Dashboard UPDATE. In other words, when I click on Home in WP Dashboard, then update, I am redirected back to your ad about Pro. I cannot update any other plugin from the UPDATE on the dashboard menu. I had to go to the Plugins and manually update the other plugin.

    2. I had to ask GoDaddy to restore my staging site back to yesterday. I have had so many problems with this Plugin.

    HUH? This has nothing to do with my topic? Why was this posted here?

    I am sorry, I just thought I was placing a ticket. I am new to this and I am very sorry.

    @ccandg did you solve the update issue? I have the same problem…

    NOPE! I’ve been trying to fix it for months… I can’t seem to find a solution that works. If you find anything, please post it here. I thought initially it had to do with our LightSpeed Server, but even after switching to APACHE, the same issue is still there.

    It’s very frustrating…

    Frustrating indeed… For me it started after an update got stuck. If I find anything I’ll let you know here.

    It’s been happening for months for me. I’ve even tried installing fresh installs of sites and it still does it. I do believe that it’s a server setting… I just don’t know what to change. I’ve combed through multiple forums, but unfortunately, because it’s related to plugins updating, it’s difficult to find the accurate result on Google, because most of the results are related to plugin installation failures.

    Hmmm….I need to think. Well, let you know if I find out something.

    Ditto.
