After installing the plugin, I’m redirected on the profile page and no way to get back to any back office’s pages…

It sounds like you must have blocked yourself out via the TMP option to restrict specific roles from the admin area. You will need to delete the plugin via FTP to regain access.

Hi, I’ve tried several combination, removed the plugin and reset de option line in the db, but no way…

I tried again this morning and now I have an apache message :
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_user_logged_in() in /homepages/(…)/wp-content/plugins/theme-my-profile/theme-my-profile.php on line 367

OK. TMP was in need of a good update, so I have done so. You should see 1.3.1 momentarily. Please upgrade.

    Hello Jeff,
I tried but the message is now :

Warning: Missing argument 3 for Theme_My_Profile::site_url() in /homepages/(…)/wp-content/plugins/theme-my-profile/theme-my-profile.php on line 400

I realized that after I committed the update. I tried to update the 1.3.1 tag, so try re-downloading it. By all means though, that is just a warning. It does work now, right?

    Thanks Jeff.

I was waiting for this update too. ??

Just know that I may discontinue TMP in the future, as it is now a “module” built into Theme My Login.

First, thanks for these two great plugins, they’re game changers.

Second, I would really hate to lose Theme My Profile. The difference between implementation of the profile page in both your plugins is important – TMP is the only plugin available whereby one can readily customise a profile displayed in the front end of a site, and all without hacking the core. For instance in the job I’m currently developing, I’ve done away with the aim / yahoo / jabber since none of my demographic would have a clue what they were, and the biography field because it doesn’t fit the site and is unnecessary. TMP has been indispensable, and TMLi wouldn’t have been able to do that.

If you’re really keen on the modular route, might I suggest the facility to switch parts of the profile display on/off?

Everything that can be done in TMP can be done with TML themed profiles, even better with TML 6 and it’s custom templates.

Hi again Jeff. I remember you we’re using this two great plugins for the WordCamp Spain site.

I’ve updated TML to 6.0 RC1 and would get rid of TMP, but i can’t find some documentation to implement it correctly.

Also, I was searching where to upload my impressions and bugs found, but seems your website isn’t done right now, and your twitter’s virgin for a while.

Help me so I can help you. ??

Best regards and keep up the great work.

I always forget there will be a readme.txt. Excuse me. ??

Hi Jeff, I installed Theme My Profile 1.3.1. But in my site the page ‘Profile’ doesn’t create, so when I clic on ‘My Profile’ (xxx/?page_id=1719), I read this message:

    Ooops Page Not Found
The page you were looking for has either been deleted or moved.
Please try a new search, we are sure to have something that will interest you…?

In wp-admin I see regularly the control panel for the regolations of your plug-in. I also use Theme-My-Login and this works fine!

    Thanks.

    Hi redford,

I had this problem and as far as I remember I solved it this way :

    – Clic on “page”, choose any of them to edit it, the in the url change the page id by 1719
You should have access to you hidden page. I dont know wether it’s the good way to tune it but I adjusted it as “Published” and “private”.

    – Second option is create a page, insert [theme-my-profile] in the body, use the page id in the plugin admin.

    Vincent

Dear Vincent, thanks for your reply, but I don’t understand the first point. Can you explain better…

What do you want to say with: “Clic on “page”, choose any of them to edit it, the in the url change the page id by 1719
You should have access to you hidden page…?
    Thanks, redford
