• The plugin works perfect for me. The only issue for me is that I have activated user moderation and when a new user registers he is assigned a role of unapproved user. That is fine. Clicking on approval approves the user and he is sent login information which works perfectly all right and he is able to register and login. But the profile continues to show the user as unapproved user. My website requires that the role assigned to the new user should be subscriber. That is the default role assigned in the settings on wordpress. Is there some way for the role to automatically change to say subscriber once the user is approved. Presently I have to change it manually. Thanks anyway for a good plugin.

That is what it is supposed to do.

I know this is an old post, but i actually experience the same thing.
The user role is not changed from pending to what ever it should go.

As a result, after e-mail confirmation by the user and approval by the admin, access is still denied with the error: registration not approved.

Furthermore, when i manually change the role, a new password is sent and the user can loggin, only not with his originally provided password.

Any idea what causes this behaviour?

Okay, figured it out: not working with Buddypress registration. I guess a lot of things between Buddypress and Theme My Login are in eachothers way.

I now have an issue with redirect after login. When a custom url is set, it acts like referer. When set to default, it acts like a referer. When Buddypress is deactivated, it works fine.

Also, redirect at logout seems to be working fine.
After two days search for solutions for this and the previous problem, i’m out of ideas.

Any suggestions or help are very much welcome.
