I was experimenting with the Welcomizer plugin and an effect on a class didn’t work while on an id worked. When I decided not to use it, I deleted the effects and also deactivated the plugin, but the animation on the class (mouseover) started working and it won’t go. Please help me deactivate this plugin and resolve this issue.

Empty your browser cache and/or empty your WordPress plugin cache.

Thanks for your quick reply Sebastien, but emptying browser cache did not work. So please tell me how to empty WordPress plugin cache. I am currently creating my designs on Instant WordPress.

It depends on which cache plugin you have installed. Please, refer to their support forum.

FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) and delete the plugin’s folder in wp-content/plugins.

Even after deleting all files in the plugin folder, it still shows up ??

Do you have any other questions I can answer for you?

If you can let me know the code that made my class=menu have the effect of “linear” movement down by 5px with “Easing” on “Mouseover”, then I can look for it and correct it. And which file will it be in a .css file or js file?

I do not really understand your question and where you’re going with this. It makes no sense, at least for me.

I just want to get rid of the effect. Even after deleting the plugin folder, the effect on my menu is still there. I don’t know how to delete cache in wordpress. So if I know atleast which code might be creating the issue, I can delete the same to hopefully remove the plugin effect. I hope you can understand something. If not, it’s ok. I’m still trying to figure a way out. Thanks for all your suggestions.

And I guess you can not give us a url, or maybe you can?

No, I’m sorry. It’s on Instant WordPress so it’s on my laptop. And not online ??
