[Plugin: The Google plugin] Doesn't Import

I’m stuck with the “Authenticate” button no matter how many times I click it. It gives the popup momentarily before disappearing. The first time, I was able to tell it to allow the connection, but then it vanished and nothing changed.

Support posts are saying to click “Test” or “Import” but Authenticate won’t change to Test or Import, as it’s not completing the authentication procedures.
