Our calendar (which is visible on our front page at gonetworkstl.com) is displaying April 2011.

We are using ‘The Events Calendar’ from Modern Tribe, and I updated it today to the current version. We are also using the current version of WordPress.

The only plugin used on this calendar is ‘Eventbrite for The Events Calendar’ which appears up to date at version 1.6.

Everything was working perfectly fine yesterday, and suddenly today, the wrong month and year are displayed. Obviously, given how far out the date is, there are currently no events listed.

WordPress also seems to know our local date and time accurately, and this improper date is found nowhere else on site.

I tried searching for the solution online, and in these support forums, but so far have seen nothing quite like this… mostly everyone else simply has a date mismatch between events and the calendar itself.

Has anyone bumped into this before? Does anyone have a potential solution, or even a good direction to start looking?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Check the HTML source of your homepage: it looks like this:

    <div style="width:275px; text-align:center; height: 100%; font-size:16px; font-weight:bold;" >Upcoming Events @ GO! Network<iframe src="https://www.eventbrite.com/calendar-widget?eid=1511995419" frameborder="0" height="370" width="220" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" scrolling="yes" ></iframe></div>

If you use that URL (‘https://www.eventbrite.com/calendar-widget?eid=1511995419&#8217;) you get April results. The displayed calendar is an Eventbrite calendar not a TEC one

Check what code you have that gives you that URL on the homepage, because it’s not The Events Calendar

My apologies, you appear to be right.

God, I hate cleaning up after other people’s messes. This site has been a nightmare.

    Will check into it, then.

Obviously, then, none of my original post applies as this is *not* a ‘The Events Calendar’ calendar at all. Will start looking at the Eventbrite side of things, then.

    Thank you for your help.

Thanks, as always, for your help bolide. Appreciated on all fronts.

Sounds like you’re set here, SilentThunderStorm, but if we can do anything else down the road please do let us know. We truly appreciate your support so far.
