Is there a way to specify that when events start and end on the same day that the times are just listed?

    i.e. instead of this:

    August 15, 2012 5:00 pm – August 15, 2012 8:00 pm

    this:

    August 15, 2012 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Is seems rather odd to repeat the date if it’s the same. It’s especially odd looking in the widget display.

Is seems like there needs to be logic to just take care of this, or a check box to indicate that it’s a one-day event rather than an all-day or multi-day event.

Many events are just a couple hours.

    Thanks,
    Michael

Is there a work-around for this?

    Thanks,

Hey Michael. This is a good point; we’ve had a number of requests for this since we made a conscious decision to have times appear as they are, and because of that we’re going to be changing it to the format you’ve noted in the 2.0.9 release (which should be out the first week of September). Can your situation here wait for that new code? Let me know if not and I can try to see if we’ve got older forum threads that provide a temporary workaround.

Moving this to RESOLVED, as I haven’t heard much action here in a month. Let me know if anybody disagrees.
