  • Hi dondowell,

Silly question, but in your widget admin, is there a title in the Events List Widget title field? I checked out your site and I can see that it’s not displaying the markup before or after the title, which indicates that the widget doesn’t have a title to display.

    <div id="events-list-widget-3" class="widget eventsListWidget"><ul class='upcoming'>

(the markup for the title should be before the ul tag)

Another possibility is that another plugin is doing something wacky with the widget_title filter in wordpress somewhere. If you disable your other plugins one at a time, does the title suddenly display?

I’m seeing this as well, as of version 1.6. It seems to be related to the new “Don’t show the widget if there are no upcoming events” option. With that option checked, the title doesn’t display even when there are upcoming events. Uncheck that option and the title reappears.

Thanks for the quick responses. That did the trick! This looks like its going to be a great plug-in for a number of my sites, especially as it continues to evolve.

Is there a way to work on the styling of the widget?

The event doesn’t align with the bullet point with some browsers. I didn’t know if that was overridden by my theme’s styling.

Also I’d like extra space before View All Events
