[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Problem setting and displaying Start & End date/times

  • Hi there,

    Have been using the plugin for a few weeks with no problems.

    Tried adding a new Event today, entered a ‘start date & time AM’ and an ‘end date and time PM’. The end date/time displays exactly the same as the start date/time no matter what I put into the fields.

    i.e.
    Start: March 14 2010 8:00am – correctly displays
    Finish: March 14 2010 2:00pm – incorrect display and just shows the same as the start.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    I can’t reproduce this bug. Here are some questions:

    Does it occur with every event you’ve entered, or just on this latest one?

    If it only happens on this latest one, does starting over and re-posting the same event fix the problem?

    When the display on the front end is incorrect, are the times on the post-editor form accurate, or do they reflect the times on the front end?

    Are you using version 1.5.4 of the plugin? This may be an old bug that is fixed now.

    Hi Justin,

    Thanks for responding.

    I am using WordPress 2.9.1 and The Events calendar Ver 1.5.4.

    The problem was occurring with all events either entered as new (new posts) or amended.

    I think that I may have just have fixed the problem. I went to my WordPress ‘General’ Settings and changed the Time Format from 9:00am to 9:00AM (from lowercase am to uppercase AM). This has worked and all of my Events date/time information is now showing correctly??

    I have just tried adjusting an Event again and it all now works correctly.

    I hope that this helps you pick up any problems that others users may encounter if it was not just me experiencing this problem.
