[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Page not post

I need this as well. I’ve got a template that gives a special property to a Page, allowing it to show up as a sliding door at the top of the blog, and i need an event to double as a page in the sliding door area, but the Page editing section does not give an option to make it an event.

i did use a post to page converter to attempt this, but i still did not get the same effect.

i’d rather not use both a post and a page to do the same thing.
