[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Old event being repeated every day for a month-Not good

  • Had an event set for Oct. 2. At some point after the event occurred The Category of “Event” was turned off on the post. The checkbox for the “Is this an event” was set to no. Not sure how that happened. But now, the event is being repeated on the calendar every day of the month. I went in and changed it back to YES this is an event and added the back some info. No change. The event is listed every day for the entire month of October. Can’t get rid of them.

    Update. Found out that my wife had unchecked “Event” Category and updated the Posting date. (I reuse the Event’s post as a regular post for covering the event but if it’s going to screw up this badly I won’t be). I’ve even tried deleting the entire post and to no avail. I have the same event appearing on my calendar from Oct. 2 through the 31st even though the event was only supposed to appear on the 2nd.

    Nevermind. Found where a second post had been created and had a bad date range. Problem solve. Loose nut in front of the keyboard was the problem.
