    Hi,
When I load a full width event page, that display a map (from the plugin), and start to scroll it down, the pages stops when the mouse cursor hits the map and start zooming the map out. which makes the reader go to the side and drag the bar in order to get the page below the map.

Is it possible to cancel this function that the map zooming will work only by clicking the +/- buttons that are on it?

that way the readers would be able to scroll the page all the way down without interference.

    Thanks

  • Hey mh1562. Thanks for the note here, and for using The Events Calendar. This is unfortunately a byproduct of the maps API we’re using to build this; all we’re really doing is pulling in this data and displaying it via Google Maps, which means that sadly we can’t tweak things like the layout or functionality for users directly out-of-the-box. This also might confuse your users because if you navigate to Google Maps, you’ll see that it behaves the same way. To strip away a functionality that users have come to expect might not be the best course of action…

Sorry I couldn’t offer up more here. Let me know if I’ve misunderstood your request, or if you need anything else here. Thanks again for your support.

Going to mark this resolved, since the answer I’ve provided here is the only answer at the time. Please let me know if anyone disagrees.
