[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Issue with main calendar view – no events showing

i’ve been working with the events calendar plugin on my site and there is an issue with the main calendar view.

when i select the calendar button it takes me to a current month however no events are showing but if i select another month from the dropdown menu and return to the current month using the dropdown menu it will show the events in the calendar grid… the url links are different.

please let me know if what your ideas are that could be causing this and how to fix it.
