With the events list widget on my homepage the link to “view all events” doesn’t work, linking to mydomain.com/events/upcoming. However, if I manually enter mydomain.com/index.php/events/upcoming it works fine.

So how do I change it so it links to the latter url or would I be better changing permalinks? Thanks!

Well that’s a rather odd URL. Are you sure you typed it correctly? It seems that you have a subdirectory named “index.php”, which is both unusual and confusing.

    I’ve a similar question.

I need the upcoming events calendar to be a subpage, with the URL as such:

    https://mydomain.org/calendar/upcomingevents

(The other subpage under calendar is a static list of holidays.)

But in the settings page, when I type ‘calendar/upcomingevents’ as the URL, the forward slash is removed. Is there a fix for allowing that to stay (which is all I need), or allowing the events calendar to be set asa subpage?

    Thanks!

Hey Tony – there’s no way to do that directly out of the box with this plugin, but you could fake it by using the categories within the calendar strategically…otherwise you’re going to have to do a bit of tweaking on your end to get it functional.

Thanks, Rob. I eventually unchecked the “auto-pop subpages” for my main calendar menu item and set the “school holidays” and “upcoming events” page as submenu items, using the custom link option to add them to the menu.

I had to add both this way because adding only the “upcoming events” page as a subpage places it before “school holidays” in the menu, throwing off the automatic alphabetical ordering. (If I don’t want the subpages in alphabetical order, can i turn that off somewhere?)

Hey Tony – thanks for the note. What subpages are you referencing?
