• Hi

    Great plugin – thanks.
    I have used he php from the trunk to make sure am and pm work but now have noticed a google button on the detail of each event which i am sure was not there before. google embedding is turned off and when i click this think little button it just opens exactly the same page agin but in a new tab.
    any ideas why? i would quite like to just remove the little button.

    thanks

  • Pretty sure the google link was there to begin with… it’s there on mine, and I haven’t done the time-fix.

    I believe the button comes up if you chose to not have a map shown. I’m sure if you look in the single.php, you’ll find the callout for the google button.

    this…
    <a class="gmap" href="<?php event_google_map_link() ?>" title="Click to view a Google Map" target="_blank"><?php _e('Google Map', $this->pluginDomain ); ?></a>

    I have enabled embed maps but have neither a button or maps showing, except on the first event I created which has both a button and a map.

    Where should I look?

    Any clues as to what needs fixing gratefully recieved.

    Have solved it.

    It seems you must fill almost all the address fields. City and postcode is not enough.

    I had assumed that venue and postcode/zip code would be enough for google maps.
