  • The issue is due to the way you have coded your sidebar with the offset / float. You might also want to run your theme through the w3c validator as it will help you identify some of the code errors you have: https://validator.w3.org

it found 12 errors and none of them had to do with the float… lol any suggestions? and they were all with the google map on this page: https://www.gcclacrosse.com/2010/01/conditioning-session/

Well this is a pleasant pleasant surprise Shane! I’ve been using Events Manager by nutsmuggler but, have been searching for a new and better calendar. Can’t wait to try yours out. Here’s my site I’m using it on.

    Hi Carey!!!

Let me know when you have set it up – I would love to see it.

Hi Shane, we looked around for an events plugin and are excited to use your plugin. Your screenshots look good but we have had some trouble with the layout/css – possibly conflicting with our theme. Could you please have a look and offer some advice? Thanks in advance for the help…

    Hi Dallan,

I would need to see your code to be able to help. Can you supply a URL? We have had a number of people install with very few layout issues. Just looking at your screenshots though it would appear that you have a div closing out your main content body before the calendar code is being called.

This is so cool. I am very excited to see how nice the calendar layout is. No problem or conflicts with my theme. As soon as it has the recurring dates I will be using it!

Hi Shane, our site isn’t live yet. Whats the best way to reach you to get you a user account? Or I can email you the page source code? Thanks again!

You can email me at [my first name] at shaneandpeter /dot/ com.

Bosskland – I’m also dealing with the issue of posts showing up at bottom of the screen. Were you able to resolve it? If so, please explain how.

    Not yet dan,

I’ll post it as soon as we get to it. We have a small set of theme changes we are making that I hope resolve a wide number of issues reported. Let’s revisit after the next update.

    as shane said, not yet

    Hi Shane,
Awesome plugin, and i have tired just about all the wordpress calendars.
    Thanks indeed.

I am having a slight problem with formatting also, when using list view.
The previous and next events buttons are placed on the top right border of the browser.
Check out the test site here

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers

    Sorry, wrong link

    Here

    Hi Wombat,

    Thanks for the nice words.

The issue you are having is due to conflicting class css names. We are both using a class called “nav” to control different divs.

Most of the problems in this thread are due to css name space conflicts, which we are resolving as I write this. I am probably going to do a quick localization release first, and then release an updated set of templates that fix many of these problems.
