• I have updated to version 2.0.
After that I tried to catch up with some events that were not in my widget (cause plugin was not working for me before) when I realized the the custom fields for The Event Calendar where not available any more neither for new posts nor for old ones.
Not being able to do write a post and load the event on the same place makes me do the same thing twice. Besides this now the events directs to a page with the event and not to the post?

All this is because I didn’t buy the Pro version or what?
    Thanks

Happy to help, Steven. Bummer to hear about that one rogue event – I would definitely resave your permalinks, empty the plugin’s trash on the backend and see if that does the trick. And if anything else along these lines arises down the road please let me know.

I am not sure about “empty the plugin’s trash on the back end” How? Because I am back to 1.6.5 there is no separate event and there was one post in the “trash” but it had nothing to do with the event.

Ah, if you’re on 1.6.5 it won’t treat them the same way – that was introduced in 2.0 for free, 1.3.0 for PRO. Sorry about the confusion there…still on 1.6.5 will result in trashed events being treated just as any trashed post.
