    Just created one simple event entry – presto it appears twice on the calendar page.

    Judging by all the traffic since this version was released we will probably have to change to a different product* – also one that allows search results to show up.

    * it won’t be the All-In-One Events Calendar either – it seems to have the same level of Forum hubub.

    Anyone got a recommendation for a smart looking, easy-to-key-in-data Events Calendar plugin that actually works OK?

  • Sorry to hear you’re having problems here, zondar – on behalf of Modern Tribe we apologize and certainly don’t want users to experience this behavior.

    Also, just an FYI…what you’re noting is of course not the default behavior of the plugin, so it sounds like the issue here is something related to your particular install. The plugin itself “actually works” fine ?? I’d be happy to try and help you troubleshoot this if you don’t end up switching to a different solution, just let me know.

    @rob,

    The professional and courteous followup is acknowledged and appreciated.

    Had to push on to finish that particular site but will revisit on next site in a week or so.

    Cheers.

    Thanks zondar. Glad to be of service; we do what we can for users of the free release because we want to make sure everyone is using a functional plugin ?? If I can do anything else just holler.

    i am having a similar issue… i created an event on the last day of April (the 30th), and for some reason it shows up on every day of the following month. (yes i made sure the start and end dates were the same day on the same month)

    if i set the day back one (the 29th) the problem is solved… that is, if the event was the 29th ad not the 30th!

    any recommendations?

    m

    I’m also seeing the same issue where if I post a one-day event for the end of the month, it repeats for the rest of next month (on calendar page).

    try deactivating…

    Visitor Maps and Who’s Online

    solved both my issues

    thanks, where do i find that? in the plugin settings? if you’re talking about a different plugin called “Visitor Maps and Who’s Online”, i don’t have that installed.

    I am having the same problem with the event entry on the last day for the month repeating in the whole of the next month. Has anyone figured out the solution to this?

    I’ve found that if I disabled the plugin “EZPZ One Click Backup” for me, it fixes the problem. I’m assuming other people had some issues with that plugin as well, considering you can no longer download it from wordpress

    @danwelch,

    Aha – you’re so right – EZPZ One Click Backup created all sorts of problems.

    What’s in a name? Often, quite a lot.

    We should have noted the slick name and never installed it in the first place.

    Thanks for the clue here, danwelch, and for sharing your experience. It sounds like that plugin does pose a conflict with ours. Sorry to hear about that and that the two don’t play nicely together.

    Sounds like zondar is set; etkrieger, are you still having issues too? I’ll mark this “Resolved” if not. Thanks again for your patience guys!

    @rob,
    Had to use another plugin and keep going this time.
    But based on the way you pay attention to issues, will check out TEC for next client that needs one.

    I’m having the same issue and don’t have any of the above-mentioned plugins conflicting with it. Any other ideas?

    I would try disabling other plugins one at a time to see if there are any conflicts, thats what I did.

    I have disabled all other plugins and still have situation where any recurring event that occurs on last day of month, appears everyday in following months calendar view. All is fine in Events List view.
    Any ideas on how to fix?
