[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Display the month name in grid (calendar) view

Hello all and thank you for this wonderful plugin and for your support!

Please can anybody tell me how can I display the name of the month in the grid view (calendar view) before the month calendar appears?

What I want to achieve is if I display the calendar for the august month the visitor to know that this is the august month of the year xxx. Now this is not appearing in the plugin – or I miss something!?

And second:

Can anybody tell me how in the select month field of the calendar form the name of the selected month displayed in the grid will remain selected? I mean now if I select august month the select field will still remain on January (even if the page will display the calendar for the august month)
