[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Categorising Events as Past or Future

The Events Calendar is an excellent plugin. But I’m sure you all know that already.

A useful feature for future versions, when the plugin allows subcategories of the Events category, is to have a special subcategory called “past events”.

Like your reposting script, it runs at midnight and when the end date of an event has passed (or the end of the last day in a recurring event, if you implement that), the event is moved to the “past events” category.

Such a feature would help optimize searches and browsing as users can then exclude or filter out the past events category from searche or post listings.
