[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Allow event posts to appear in blog as well as calendar

    Hi,
    I’ve installed, configured, and styled this plugin, and its working great! I really like it. However, I can’t for the life of me figure out why my events aren’t also showing up in my blog as posts… right now they ONLY appear in the events calendar page, as seen here:

    I’d really like them to appear in both places. Can anyone tell me how to configure things to allow events to show up in my blog as posts that link back to the main calendar page?

    I have the same exact issue. The “Display Events on Homepage” option doesn’t seem to do anything.

    I got around this by making a custom loop for index.php (ie: loop-index.php if you’re using TwentyTen.)

    It seems like The Event Calendar has some sort of function that filters out “events” posts from showing up on the front page, so I created a new loop that specifically adds items in specific categories to the front page. That did the trick.
