plugin that collapses the categories in the category box on the add new post edi

  • Hello there,

    I am looking for plugin or a hack that collapses the categories in the category box on the add new post page – you click the parent category to reveal the children then select the ones that match the post.

    I have a website for a travel agency, imagine the number of categories and sub-categories, and when I write a new post it’s a nightmare to choose the categories and sub-categories that match the post.

    Many of you must have encountered this problem so I imagine there must be a plugin that solves it.

    I’ve searched for it but only found ones that change how categories are displayed to visitors, which is not what I’m looking for.

    So, please let me know what is to be done and what solution did you find to this.

    really? no one? someone out there must have already solved this issue, finding a way to collapse the categories and sub-categories in the admin’s add new post edit page. so please, give me a sign ??

    I have the exact same problem and posted a topic for it about two weeks ago. There are so many plugins for the front end, but nothing like this for the back end. I also have many many (child)categories. I really hope someone can write a plugin for this.
