Plugin that allows access to backend server files thru Choose File?

  • Does anybody know of any plugins that allow me to access and choose back end server files when clicking the Choose File dialog?

    By backend server files, I mean ones that cannot be accessed publicly and are behind public_html.

    I know I can type /home/myserver/myfolder/myfilename.zip directly into the choose file dialogue, but that is a lot of typing and simply being able to access them directly with one click would be great.
