Plugin text in search engine meta description

Same issue for me,
i have the text of GDPR popup on my description on google

We did some research on this issue in some forums and our findings say it would take a maximum of up to 4 weeks for a snippet change to reflect in google. It will depend upon Google indexing time. You can manually try a recrawl.

Even with a manual re-crawl trigger, it would take some time to reflect the changes. Several users have reported that this has worked for them.

This is no longer the case today. The post you mention is 8 years old. Today, we can reindex / recrawl a page very quickly.
