    Hi,

I am using the testimonial plugin on a client’s site. I have populated the plugin with 9 testimonials. The plugin is not rotating through all of the testimonials even though all of them are active (visible to public). It’s showing only 6 or 7 of them. The options I choose:
    random display, no tag filters.

What do I have to do to have all the testimonials be displayed? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Do the testimonials all show in the HTML source code?

    (@jana11)

No, the ones not being included in the rotation also don’t show up in the HTML code. Why not?

Are you including any html in your testimonials?

Are the ones being missed grouped together?

Are you using the tag feature? If so, are the missing ones tagged?

Are the ones being missed grouped together?
    No.

Are you using the tag feature?
    No.

Are you including any html in your testimonials?
    Yes.
    1. I am including images which are styled with inline styles in the actual testimonials.
    2. The author names (in the author field) are linked to their websites, so there are tags in the author field.
    3. There’s a
in the source field before the content because I would like to force the source reference underneath the author’s name.

Is it not possible to include any html in the plugin?
    Thanks!

Sorry, I had to post again.

Are the ones being missed grouped together?
    No.

Are you using the tag feature?
    No.

    Yes.

    3. There’s a single line break tag in the source field before the content because I would like to force the source reference underneath the author’s name.

Can you verify that only the testimonials that have HTML content in them are not showing up?

If so, can you please provide a couple samples of what’s failing to load here?

    Thread Starter jana11

    (@jana11)

The testimonials (displayed or not) are basically all the same. They all have the same HTML content, exact same tags. Out of the nine testimonials the same 4 don’t show up. They are not displayed at all. There’s nothing different about them that I can see. It’s puzzling.

The site is this: https://www.takechargebuildwealth.com, if that’s what you mean with examples. The site was not initially created by me; it’s built on Thesis. My current client asked me to create some enhancements, such as a feature box, testimonial features and such for the site.

If you can think of anything that might explain the strange plugin behavior…
    Thanks much!

Looks ok to me, there are 5 testimonials and they’re changing as expected. Which browser are you using (I tested with FF7)

    Thread Starter jana11

    (@jana11)

Yes, the five testimonials that are displayed are changing as expected. However, the additional 4 testimonials I filled into the widget are not displayed at all.

Could you please provide the html source of two appearing and two not appearing testimonials?

Now the examples that DO show up:

    3rd example:
    The testimonial:

Hope that you can use the examples the way I provided them. Thanks.

I dislike saying this, it’s an unreproducible problem for me.

All the testimonials are showing up on my test system.

How many testimonials do you have overall?

Do you have any limits in place?

Are you using tags like ‘quote’? Do all the testimonials you want have that ‘quote’ tag?

    WebDeb

    (@sillymoney)

    Is only one tag allowed?
If I add multiple tags, the testimonial is skipped.

If Post has ==> shows/no show in widget as follows…
tag1 ==> works great for Widget1 where tag1 is entered
tag2 ==> works great for Widget2 where tag2 is entered
    tag1, tag2 ==> does not show on for Widget1 or Widget2

In checking out the trunk source, only one tag at a time is allowed. I’ll try to fix it here shortly.
