Rotation is for the widget only at this point.

I’m busy on a couple of other pressing projects at the current time. However, I can keep this in mind as a feature request for later.

I noticed that there’s only one testimonial on the page. Is testimonial rotation still a problem?

I’m having the same problem. https://www.hatchmfg.com/

I also had problems with the CSS the issue was that the actual code created by the PHP listed the div as
    testimonialswidget_testimonials_list

    rather than
    testimonialswidget_testimonials”

so the css didn’t work until i changed the css to _list instead.

Right now my ids=1 and as you can see it’s not rotating.

See FAQ for version 0.2.6. I modified the CSS to respect widget CSS first, then let list specific styling apply.

Please let me know if this works for you or not.

    Are there still any problems?

Rotation for the page content would be awesome. This is actually what I came to the support forums to find out. Hope it’s implemented soon.

I’ll consider rotation within the shortcode a version 3.0 item. That’s about 2-3 months out with current projects going on.

If you can fund it elsewhere, I’ll roll it in now.

Thanks for the update and consideration.

Hi, i too would like this.

If you can fund it elsewhere, I’ll roll it in now.

So you mean if we donate, then you would roll this feature out sooner rather than later? I would be fine with that if its reasonable ??

Yup, money talks, but availability to write the code right now doesn’t exist. I’m quite busy with various projects and TYPO3-related travels for much of August. My own next personal coding project is delayed till late September.

Another option is if you can find another developer to write the code, I’ll merge it into the latest release. That’s much faster than waiting for me to have enough time.

Alternately, recently, I think I saw a plugin that allows you to create widgets and then use a shortcode related to that widget to place the content in page and posts. I’m sorry that I don’t recall the name of the plugin, but doing a little research here might save you time and money.

    Good luck!

There is a plugin “Sidebar and Widget Manager” which allows you to create widgets and put them inside your page content.
