[Plugin: Taxonomy Images] Destroying last array element using unset

Hi there
I’m using this code https://pastebin.com/GcHdZBXZ to display thumnails from a custom taxonomy, but I think I need to clear the last item somehow, because it’s appearing multiple times in the source html — just the link, not the actual thumb — when it shouldn’t. As a result, it’s screwing with the layout in IE.
I think I need to use “unset()”, but my PHP is very basic.
Anyone help?
