I really like this plugin and find it very useful, but I just noticed a strange quirk: if you deactivate the plugin, it forgets all the widget settings! None of my other plugins behave that way.

In a future release, would it be possible for you to save the widget settings in the WordPress database? This would facilitate the standard WordPress debugging technique for identifying plugin conflicts (deactivate all plugins, then reactivate them in small groups until the problem is found).

    Thanks very much,

The behavior you reported is a quirk of the plugin’s legacy coding. For version 2.0, I rewrote the plugin to use WordPress’ newer widget API, so this problem has been fixed.
