[Plugin: Tabber Tabs Widget] help with padding on tabs

First, I want to thank you for this great plugin!
I have searched through the questions here, but cannot find an answer..
I am doing a website for a client, on the Genesis framework. It is in theme preview mode, so I can only provide a screenshot: https://girledesigns.com/images/tabs.png
The tabs are too ‘squished’ together.. I tried jut shortening the titles, (trying to take the easy way) and then changing the padding in the style.css, but can’t seem to get it to work.. can you help me out here? Thanks, I really appreciate it!!
