Plugin syncing products I have set not to sync

Hi there,

First, check to make sure that logs are enabled via Marketing > Facebook.

To find the generated logs:

1. Go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs
2. In the top right corner, open the drop-down and select the relevant Facebook sync log that you need, then click view to load it. Here’s what that looks like: https://d.pr/i/tCljQd
3. Copy/paste the relevant part of the log into your response so we can take a look.

The screenshot you shared is of the product sync tab.

1. Head to Marketing > Facebook. and enable Logging within the Connections tab as seen here:

2. Enable debug mode at the bottom of the screen and save the settings.
3. Repeat the steps to replicate the error.
4. Head to WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
5. Choose the Facebook log from the dropdown and click the “View” button to display the log. Please note that the log may be in UTC/GMT time, so it may be offset by a few hours.
6. Copy and paste the log into https://snipboard.io and share the resulting link. You can also paste the logs directly in your reply.`

Can you please also share a screenshot of the setting where you have disabled sync for the product?

When you changed the sync settings did you select the option to delete the product from Facebook, as seen here: ?

@nagpai oh man, I could have sworn I replied to this the other day but I must have gotten sidetracked LOL! I did have the debugging log checked already, but here’s the correct log & the screenshot is here. Also, I did not select to delete it from the FB catalog because I set it to not sync when I created the product category as well as when I created the product, so there should have been nothing to delete.

Hi, @mysticminimalistartisan!

I’m not entirely sure why the gift cards in your shop are still syncing to Facebook despite you excluding the category. However, I see that you’re using this plugin: YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards Premium. Are the gift cards from that plugin the one you’re trying to exclude from the Facebook sync?

If so, what happens when you create a regular simple product without the plugin, set it to virtual, and add it to the gift card category? Is that also being synced?
