    So Swiftype seems really nice. Setting it up on my install was a total snap.

    I’d love it if I could use it in place of the standard search box,?but it looks like the search widget only allows you to select one category to search in.?And I’d rather not add all of my posts to a single category as that’s not what categories are meant for.

    I’ve grabbed a screenshot so you can see what I’m seeing. Hopefully that’s not the intended behavior, but if it is I’d love to learn why you guys are doing it that way.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the confusion on this. The default “Search” widget is what you want here. It will use Swiftype and search all categories. The “Swiftype Search” widget is intended to be used to filter on categories.

    Ah ha! I’ve been using DuckDuckGo as my search, so it wasn’t clear that the search widget was the way to go. Thanks for the clarification!
