You do not have the current version installed, you need a version 1.6.2.

i updated my version again. (must not have worked the first time)
i’ve taken the survey 2 times, which shows up in my collected data area, but when i download the csv files they’re completely blank.

does it prompt you to save the file or does it just go to a blank page?

    Does the default survey work?

Are these the same tables that you tried to create with the previous version of the plugin?

if so there may be fields that have been created that cannot be downloaded, if you can delete the table and start again, or rename the survey.

As a test , remove the – from the survey name, this also may be a cause.

I have just done a test.
The problem IS the – in the form name. For now just remove the – and you should be able to work fine.
A fix will be added to a future release.

i don’t see a “-” in my survey name. i also don’t see how i’m able to change the name.

i went in to try and make a completely new survey and when i type everything in and hit “apply” it deletes everything i just did and returns to an empty form.

I assumed from the – in the postname the survey would have one aswell.

To rename it you would select it as the ‘source’ then create a new form.

If it is deleting the entire survey, it may be down to the way you php installation is interpreting the Settings.ini file. This is something we have just found out and it is fixed for the next release.

As an immediate fix for you, go to the plugin folder.
    the to ‘library/survey/SurveyMe’
    Edit the Settings.ini
    change the last line to

    default=””
