• Hello,
I recently signed up for WordPress through Bluehost. Last week I tried logging on with Chrome and was notified the page I requested was unsafe. I contacted Bluehost who resolved the issue. However, the next time I logged on, all of my plugins I had previously installed were removed and now I am unable to re-download them with a note saying: Installation failed: Could not create directory.
Could someone please let me know what they think the issue is? Was my site compromised? Or when Bluehost “fixed” the issue, did it affect my plugins somehow? How can I re-install the plugins I need for my site?
    Thank you for any help.

Please ask Bluehost what they did. Otherwise, it’s all just speculation.

This indicates they’re already installed. AGain, check with BH support.

Thank you, I followed back up with Bluehost and they were able to restore my plugins, thanks for the nudge!
