Plugin suddenly stopped working but dont need it anymore

I am trying to hide the slider widget for mobile users. It was working fine when I first installed the plug-in but I just noticed it is no longer hiding the widget despite the settings indicating that it would.

I tried disabling the plug in and re-activating with no luck.

I tried changing some other widget options and custom css but it seems to have no effect.

Ended up removing the plug-in and it looks like I was able to do what I wanted with the default wordpress editor and custom CSS
