I’m testing the Subscribe to Plugins Reloaded comment on my password protected testing site before launching live and I’m having an issue with the management page interfering with the Blubrry Powerpress plugin. The management page is showing the Powerpress player under the content with the latest episode of my podcast. Not sure what’s causing that to be pulled on the page.

Any way this can be fixed?

    Thanks,
    Matt

As an update, I tested with my custom theme as well as Twenty Ten and the Classic theme. The Blurry Powerpress audio player is showing up in all of them on the management page.

Are you experiencing the same behavior on other pages (not posts) of your blog? Also, do you remember when you downloaded and installed my plugin? Would you be interested in testing version 1.5 before it’s officially released to see if it solves your problem?

It’s not happening on any other pages, just on the Management page. I downloading and installed your plugin yesterday (everything else has been installed for a while).

I can definitely test out version 1.5! I’m doing all the work on my testing/dev site before going live, so I have no problem with putting the new version up to see how it goes.

Okay cool. In the meanwhile, is there a chance you can give me access to your admin panel so that I can see what’s happening? I wasn’t able to reproduce this issue on my test environment with TwentyTen, so I suppose it has to be some other plugin that is conflicting with it. Probably the plugin that adds the player itself…

Unfortunately I can’t since it’s on a server that’s both IP filtered and requires authentication. I can make a list of all of my plugins if that works for you.

Well, I suspect it’s the plugin that adds the player to your pages. Right now I don’t have time to install it on my test environment and troubleshoot the issue. You may want to contact its developer to see if they can help.

PS: I may have time as a consultant, though ??

As an update, the 1.5 (and subsequent 1.5.1) update fixed the issue. Not sure what the problem really was, but it seems all good now!

    Thanks,
    Matt

Thanks for the update! Version 1.5 is now using a different way to create the management page on-the-fly, so I guess this helped ??

Please don’t forget to vote for my plugin!

    Wonderful, thank you so much.
